  6. Looks like "Strick" driving in both of the Grumpy's Toys shots. He was usually driving when the car was numbered 101.

Ralph Muller (Big Foot) was a Central Iowa racer who later teamed up with a guy on an Opel GT called Friendship. I have a photo of that car.
Moats Opel GT body could be switched to an Austin Bantam body when wanted.

    Dennis,
I scanned some more old trannies last night and found these. The res is a bit low but what you see is what you get.

First up is the Phillips and Lumb Mach 1 doing one of their "tie down" burnouts where the lashed the car to a solid object and obliterated the tires.

THe same car under more normal conditions

Bill and Norm Oakey's mid engine Camaro. They also ran the back motor configuration under various other bodies including a Goggomobil and a Monaro.

Out of my home town of Adelaide is Geoff Pratt's ex Jim Dunn "Fireman's Quickie" Omni/Horizon in the process of being prepped for paint by "Scruff" Aslin

The end result. I painted the head and tail lights on this car even though I was out of the paint business and into fabricating by then.
