Just helped my brother move his 'Vette body the other day and snapped a couple of pics of his alcohol flat 4 (willys block). He ran it in an old FED for a couple of years, then pulled it and moved up to a 300 6cyl. It's been sitting in his garage ever since. He's a machinist by trade, so he made most of the parts for it himself. Always got lots of attention. I also attached a couple of pics of the rail after he put the 300 in it.
I've been searching for Willys, Jeep, Kaiser tech and hot rod stuff forever. Is there is any possible way for you or your brother to further do***ent this little monster. Looks like he made his own head? Intake, Header, Bellhousing and what else? Jeff
Pretty interesting project doing basicly a Jeep flathead motor high tech, too bad there isn't more of a market for Performance Jeep stuff. The 300 is no slouch either! Had several of them and they will fly. Michael
He's looking for more pics, and maybe an old video of his first launch at Milan (Michigan) in the car. It went nose high and dug a groove in the pavement with the push bar, they politely told him to load it up on the trailer and not to bring it back until he had a wheelie bar on it! Pretty much a stock bottom end. He made the head, intake, headers, flywheel, bellhousing, and front balancer, plus a few other odds and ends. Not sure how what times he turned, Ill have to find out, I know it wasn't real fast though. (Not for sale, but I may be able to convince him to make a few parts for one for the right price)
FWIW here's some more Willys Go-devil **** http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298655 Jeff
