So I'm the new guy. I live in Seattle, married, blah, blah, blah. Now the important stuff, I have a '53 Packard project car, an old ****ty rusted out '59 Dodge work truck and my wifes daily driver a '64 Falcon wagon. I work for a company that builds custom aluminium work boats by day. I just really got into cars about two years ago, before that I was just a punk rocker with a bus p***. I don't know a lot and always want to know as much as possible and just learn from friends, ect. Well that's about it for me.
my wife decided the digital camera needed to go for swim in the river, so unfortunetly I can't post any right now. besides all you'd see is a '53 packard up on jack stand and stripped down to bare metal with a bunch of cancer holes. I'll try and get some up sometime.
Dont worry about the condition of your car, most projects start out that way or worse. By the way, WELCOME. Keith

right now my plan is to get the Packard on the road. I am going to leave it a little on the ****ty side. Flat black rattle can, the roof is covered in surface rust and I will probably leave it that way at least for awhile, cause it looks pretty cool, at least it does to me and I'm the only one that really counts. Other than that I'll pound out the dents that were under about inch worth of bondo and weld in some patch panels. I also have a Dodge 360 out of an '84 Ram Charger that I'll drop in and get the flathead inline 8 out of there. My wife wants to take a swing at custom upholstrey (she's worked in the costume industry for theater and movies for about the last 20 years), so she'll do the interior. Nothing wild just a fun car to cruise around in make people ask what the hell is that.
