Posies/Terry's open house ....

This Saturday is Posies and Terry's open houses in Hummelstown. Shall we do the no pussies tour again this year? I'm borrowing my father's RPU cause the modified is still busted from the Florida trip and I gotta keep with tradition and take a ******* car.

Should we all try to meet there at the same time like last year? We talked about leaving at 8 or 9 which would put us there an hour later. Posies is done at 12. What time should we meet? 9???

Will I get ridiculed if I show up in a pick up? It doesn't have a heater. The weather man is calling for temps in the 50's. Hell that's balmy.

 

Last year the temps were in the single digits..9 degrees as I remember. This year I take the Buick and I don't care how cold it is. I went out to the garage this morning to find the Buick's tire flat. I had ran over a wire brush wheel and it punctured the tire. Saturday I had cleaned the garage. Go figure. Changing a tire on a lowered vehicle was loads of fun in the rain. It requires two working jacks. I had one. Anyway I got the tire fixed and shes ready again. I'm leaving my house at around 7AM. Should BE there by 9 or so. Waiting to hear if Sawzall got parolled for the day. Hope he can make it as he knows how to get there..

if I leave my house at 5:00am
I should get to Ester's Restaurant in Fredericksburg PA about 7:30am.
Leave there 8:00
be at Posies around 9:30.
Terry's at 10:00
leave at 11:00
hit my driveway at 4:00pm
... yeah, that sounds right! Sign me up. Heck, I could be past half way to Rocky's house in 11 hours. But I digress.

Anyone else rolling west along I-78 Saturday morning?

No heater or radio in the Elky. I like the sound of the pipes anyway..... I should be able to make it unless something else comes up. Where's Terry Cook's place at? Is it near Posies? I'm ***uming it's in NJ though..

 

This is an entirely different Terry. This shop is about 1/2 mile from Posie's.

OK ...I'm a *****. I have a windshield. Dustin is the trooper. His windshield is about a foot too short. I had to give him my goggles last year cause he was getting frostbite around his eyes. This year will be easy. It's gonna be warm.

Chrisman...it hurts seeing those pics. I sold the RPU just about a year ago.

Oh, damn... I guess the new owner is one lucky hot rodder, with such a cool piece of machinery in the driveway!

 

Larry is getting an exit #. Look for a big Rutter's on the right hand side just north of York. Larry should have the number soon.
