recently i posted a question about the carb on my '51 chevy flooding, and had many responses/much help from many hambers. i had particularly specific advice from Action Girl since she had just rebuilt the carb on her car (Faye) because it had the same problem. much thanks there. then, on my birthday oddly enough, she offered to give me her freshly rebuilt carb if she doesn't use it on the new engine going into Faye, but said most likely she would use it. well, today i arrive home to find a package from Action Girl in my mailbox, an immaculately rebuilt carb free of charge AND she paid the shipping. now keep in mind we have never met in person, we have only talked here on the hamb, and she went waaay out of her way to do this for li'l old me. for that i am very greatful! i want to kneel down and praise her for being such a cool person and helping me out (that didn't sound quite right ) thank you stacey!!! I OWE YOU tred.
Now that's a cl***y lady (Action Girl).........what a great jesture on her part part to help out tredboy!! Topshelf person for sure!! Tred your one lucky cat.......but your one good HAMBer also.......hope the new carb off Faye makes that ride of yours purrrrrrr!

Awwww Geez... I don't deserve all this adoration. So many HAMB folks have done the same kinds of wonderful things for me that I felt like it was my turn to help a hamber in need, and for a change, I was the one with the part someone needed. Anyway, GLAD I could help and hope that the carb works as good on your car as it did on mine. That one isn't as pretty on the outside as my most recent rebuilds, but it works great and that's all that really matters. Viva la HAMB! Stacey
