Here is one I did some work on. I didn't build the whole frame, but I cut it in half and built the back half. I used 2x3 rectangle tubing and I split and spread it to match at the front part where it met the original frame so it would flow better... Part of the panhard rod bracket... I didn't build those Ladder Bars!!!!! Planning to replace those with some I build and relocate the forward connection points and building the axle end connection points from scratch too.... It is under this 1931 Coupe.
First attempt at frame building. Made from 2x4 rect. tubing tapered the front of the rails to resemble Model A horns.
Started with 32 rails, flatten them, pinched them to 18 inches at the front, made "K" member and rear cross member. Built a frame from 3/4 inch tubing to mount the body on. Last pic is the finished car. Rex
Here my frame for an off topic truck, Its a 69 GMC truck. But anyways here it is. Heres a current shot of it now...(Not no where near done still in mock-up) Justin
This is the frame I made for my 30 model A coupe. Its just a model A front section and the rear is made all from rectangular tubing then I radiused the corners. it has a five inch step. I had a buggy sping but I decided to change it over to coil overs.
this is what I built for my 25/26 dodge RPU - Body skelaton also - frame is 2 inches wider at the front crossmember - 5 inches longer ( for the 225 slant 6 ) with 3 in kick up at the z - 2x3 tubing with 1/4 in x 3 plate inter liner for sheer strength - tapered and rolled the front horns
The frame for my '62 Monterey. Henry built it, but I replaced 4 ft on each side in the center that was rusted out, added the air ride stuff in the rear, and fixed all the other corrosion.
