Hood Ornament I.D.

Picked this up at a yard sale today. Wondering if anyone can tell me if it is an original piece, or maybe a JC Whitney aftermarket. Thanks in advance.

 

Doubtful it is a factory acc'y because of the very noticable mold parting line.

very cool, though.

 

Yeah- thats what I figured. But, worth the $5 to put on my shelf.
