Parts interchange 1962-64 some 65. Front clip is different on 62. Small block v8s fit easy. Do a search for fairlane on here.

    Crites has Thunderbolt parts
    Macs antiques has replacement parts
Woody G's fairlane site has all tech and build info on his site.

The 62 I looked at yesterday was a factory 260 v-8 with auto ****** so you shouldn"t have any problem with the 302 bolting up.this 62 is on the Lakeland,Florida craigslist for $2500 but the dude will take less, running driving car and not bad at all, needs alittle body work and paint, but damn descent car.

from what im reading.. im gunna have to change the trans too but i have the aod.. so now i guess once its in there ill have to figure out the drive shaft.. i wanna measure the rear and see if there are any that are close to bolt in.. i dont mind moving some mounts around.. i just dont wanna have to shorten it..
