Pomona swapmeet was really good today for all kinds of parts and I ended up buying a 1939 ford deluxe coupe for a great price. So unlike pomona to find a car like this for a fair deal. It a nice driver quality car with a freshly built flathead with dual carbs, Edlebrock heads , and Reds headers ect. Good body and paint and the inside is nice too. Car drives real nice. Im so happy to have a running hotrod now while I take forever to get my 32 on the road. Just had to share with you guys. Thanks Terry Stoker for being a gentleman and waiting for me to make up my mind if I was going to buy it or not. Danny

Nice coupe! I'd rather have the parts all put together like that anyway.

Now, are you calling that beautiful car a "driver quality" car because it's yellow, or has no wiper arms/blades, or because if it was any better you'd be afraid to drive it on the street and would trailer it only and would ride around fairgrounds only like so many "better than driver quality" cars?

    I gots to know.

You guys out in Cali have it so good when it comes to rolling stock already done or sorta done rods for sale. It seems that so many of your cars have been built by owners who have benefited from years of cool cars and properly done rods parading around in front of them BEFORE they built theres giving them a correct patch to follow. Proper stance, clean lines, cool equipement, etc are a rarity out east or down south. We get peach colored montrosities with aluminum saw blade wheels and ugly murals like this to choose from.
