I did a search and could not find the info I am looking for. If there is a thread, can someone point it out?

If not, I need some help finding an automatic overdrive for a 66 Ford 200 six cylinder. any recommendations? Donor cars? This thing is like my 235 - it needs some different gears.

Your pretty limited with these engines. A C4 is the best trans you can put behind these from the factory. I'm not aware of any companies making adapters to put in an overdrive. I've never even heard of anyone trying to put an overdrive behind one.

Now if you had a 250 it would be a different story, they have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the small V8s and could use a AOD but it might be easier to adapt a T-5 to the 200.
