Here's one that i thought i would enter in the HAMB T and A contest, but figured it was too stock Everything stock model t except for the tracks and front ski's
Too stock? I think you should enter it anyway, mainly to showcase the huge degree of work you have put into it. By the way, It is an awesome build and I love it. Doc.
Wow, that's a real oddball Model T I think you should enter it!! This is my latest effort (except for the build-off Model A): Built over at TRaK in a 96 hour build-off. Was thinking that this car may represent a car that an average guy could buy in 1964 and easily make that 427 to roar in the B/S-class. Hope you like it!
May 3rd? you had me really confused there for a minute. Today is the 2nd. anyhow, models are looking good as always.
Here is a roadster I just completed. And here is a 5 window I am currently working on. The 5 Window is built entirely out of my parts box.
Nice stuff this week. I took a short break after completing my builds for the TnA contest, but just started a Dragmaster build today. Got a coat of paint on the frame & body panels drying outside as I type. Here's a mockup:
Finished the PON "T" AK today. Chopped Model T with Pontiac engine, scratchbuilt 1927 Pontiac grille shell and Pontiac tailights from Mr. Robert Dudek. Paint is Duplicolor Orange Mist with the ghost of the Pontiac Indian on the doors. '27 Pontiac grille and '32 Ford headlights. I made interior door panels because the kit doesn't have any. Pontiac engine from AMT '36 Ford kit. Scratchbuilt headers. Carb scoops from Reps & Mins.
Haven't posted here in a while, its kind hard for an old fart like me to remember what I have, or haven't posted, ye, I hope I guess right! An old Chevy: A Pontiac: A Ford and a Mopar
Here is my entry into the HAMB Model Build-Off. It started out an an early Iron 29 Ford pickup. Wheels and tires from Modelhaus:
Here is a link to the build off thread. Come on & have a look & vote for your favorites everybody. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=471252 And skinanbones, you should have entered that T in the build off, that is a cool looking rig.
toner283, great to put link here. heres a pic of one of my As i entered. the idea here was a guy built the boat tail in the 30s. his son inherited it in the 40s and hot rodded it some. i figured no one else would do a boat tail and i like to be diffrent.
I already had two entered the first model a and t are mine, so thats why i didn't enter another didn't want to be greedy. I had a blast building them all and they will look great on the shelves and thats the important part.
Great Models Guys!! Here are some old original model kits & paint that belonged to my dad. They had been stored up in his mom's attic since the late 60's. -Jeremy
Those old kits are cool, some of that stuff is worth gold & even more valuable since it belonged to your dad.
Definitely some cool stuff there! I'm especially diggin' the Color Me Gone Charger.... been trying to rebuild one from a built-up body and a bunch of stray parts myself! Some great modeling memories.... thatnks for sharing them!
Those are worth some money... if there is a kit (or built up) in the Bed Buggy, it'll clear well over $100, same for the Tijuana Taxi.
