Welcome fellow Texan. Thats a cool start for a hotrod. And rare to boot. Hey, do you know Leon Ekery at Dyer auto Salvage? He's a cool guy to know when looking for parts or just hanging with. Tell Him Keith Fox from Lubbock Said Hi.

So stretch the A frame to fit the essex. Not the other way around. Plus the A needs boxed anyway. So do ALL the work on the frame. If you havent considered it, it needs chopped. Ask Leon about his 34 coupe sometime. ITS BAD. Keith

Thanks for posting more pics. I never realized that Essex coupes had suicide doors.

  13. Hi there and welcome to another Essex nut. My buddy Paul is on here as 29SX276. It stands for 29 Essex 276 cube flatmotor. He is building a coupe on half A half Essex rails. Go to search and put in his username. You should come up with some pics of his car. Here is one showing the A frame on his coupe. It has since been channelled a bit and will be chopped and I just gave him some 15" pickup wheels to replace his 16's. Pat.
