Not exactly "lowered" as you requested, but it does have historic content. [IMG]

    cool,,thanks,,

wondering why you dont really see model A' done up traditional style WITH fenders that often, did everybody rip the fenders off their A's??

i like the look of them with fenders,i was designing a mid-late 50's fullfendered coupe on paper last night and it got me thinking about it,,

They're building more fenderless cars now than they ever used to. The fender laws are more relaxed and it's alot harder to build a fendered car. Many alignment issues to deal with. But they look so cool with fenders!

OH,man...that purple one is beautiful.. [IMG]

since im probably not gonna do build it in real life this was my idea... i was thinking it would be cool to buy one of "grandpas" restored model A's you see for sale all the time,. and hot rod it,, like what vern tardel did to the 32 in the streetrodder article by AV8 a few years ago.
basically bone stock, but V8 engine and dropped suspension and drifferent wheels & tires...like the yellow&black one posted..

    thanks for the pics!

    here's my sketch (dont laugh!)

im thinking ,buy a super solid grandpa restored model A for 6500-9500

lower it with dropped axle ,crossmember and spring ,and rework the rear spring and crossmember.
juice brakes F1 steering, and big and lil's on steelies painted off-white.

283 chevy ,off-white,dressed up with way too much chrome and 3X2's

    and basically,thats it,,a cool late 50's hotrod

i THINK you can build this car for less than 10K if you carefully shop...sounds like alot, but you'd have a damn nice ride!

    later,
    sam
