When is it OK to put a Hot Rod on a trailer? Is it ever OK? This bloke was snapped secretly loading his car onto a trailer after a car show this weekend, after having CLAIMED to have driven it there, and hurt it. A likely story. I hate guys like this. :p

How'd they show go for ya?

I think anytime you are taking a car to big time show and have hours and hours cleaning and prepping it's fine. I do have a problem with the guys that trailer to a local High School type show, I think they miss the point of CARS is to drive

I'm with HOTRODDON--if I've spent hrs and hrs cleaning before a show or know there is alot of road work going on enroute, I will trailer a car--also sometimes if a bunch of us go--we will trailer one--that way we have a trailer if someone has problems--a little extra safety margin

If you're pulling your rod with another rod, you don't just get a pass, you get points!

I love guys like this, it's the way trailering should be. Thumbs up to you!

I also don't understand the point of trailering a motorcycle to a show, except most of that ass jewelry is unrideable anyway

9 out of ten of the trailer Queens wouldn"t make it to the show ,they are bought and normally hauled to shows or swapmeets, unloaded a few miles away and then the dude tells everybody he did all the work himself, ask him what gear ratio the rear is and he comes bad with oh its a posi-traction,thats all I ever use these guys are fun to screw with their heads for a good laugh, had one today at sSumter Swapmeet bring a 32 into car corral asking $31,000 for car and didn"t even unload it ,when asked said it was to much trouble.A good example .

Must not be built very road worhty if one little pothole can put it on the trailer.;)

I had a friend get pulled over driving back to the motel from Des Moines GG because he was swerving all over the road. the officer says, been drinking a little? He said, No, just trying to miss the potholes. He had not been drinking nor did he get a ticket.

I would not ever criticize a trailered car. The owner obviously has reasons and they are his/her business. I just appreciate the opportunity to see nice hotrods.

Funny thread Brian, I like both your cars and if thats what you pull trailers with more power to you. I like to drive hot-rods but I know my 40 is gonna see some time in the box till I get some miles on it and am comfortable the bugs are worked out and it's ready for a long trip. Does it really matter. Its hard for me to get away and when I do I don't want to spend the whole weekend working on my car so I can get back home but I don't hide my trailer. Gary
