Little known is that Henry Ford experimented with a plastic car made from hemp. Photos on the net.
A lot of guys, me included, have pounded rusty metal for many decades and no longer choose to do so unless it's something really special.

Regarding Gibbon, there seems to be three generations. The early stuff from Nebraska was great. So was the stuff from the son after the move to Darlington UP UNTIL the the early-mid 2000's. Then it was not good.
The company went under and most everything was bought and started life again with a new owner. I have no feedback on this guy and it seems to be a low-key operation. I have a '34 3W stock height Ford coupe (1997) and it is arrow-straight perfect and with a great firewall. Lots of guys ask if the body is steel.

  2. I would never buy anouther thing from that company, they (Jamie ) treated me like shit, basicly calling me a liar over one of their screw ups.

Our STREET ROD WORKS became a Down's dealer in 1985. Sold and built many. Our old faithful '33 Ford sedan delivery now has 141, our '32 & '33.png 069 cruizin' miles = no cracks in the body ! TCI chassis of course.
Also a dealer for Barb at Outlaw Performance = the finest !
