I can't believe how complete and untouched it is. Great find! You must be thrilled.

I'd have a hard time deciding what to do with it -- hopped up stocker or wild 60s custom-rod? Not sure.

Im thinking pull the body off,AV8 the chassis, but stock lookin painted flatty, 16" red wires,Juice brakes,5 speed box (flatoz, how do ya do that again?) fat whites, stuffed up in the fenders, and just do the little body repairs needed and leave the shitty paint. might even leave the farmer style luggage rack,it folds down flat-good aussie bush engineering!Keep the hokey feel going......

Sounds like a great plan.........although I'd loose the rack and repaint it the same grey/gum tree green.

good guessin peddro, actually between woodend and daylesford. you could spend weeks in central vic checkin every farm for tin.if your'e a friendly type and talk to locals and have some common point (mum and dad are well known) I reckon you could pull a cool old car out of this region every other weekend.
found that mag, not worth grabbing.

Drewfus, colour is actually baby blue.and whats wrong with the luggage rack? [IMG]

I was gonna say around Trentham or somethin' like that but I don't know place names out there.

Just make sure you give us a yell when you get it home.
I'm convinced there's quite a bit of stuff around. Just the other day I spotted a 40 ford truck off the main road on the way to my folk's place. Asked my dad about it but he reckon's the guy that has it is tight as a fish's arsehole, so not much hope there.

Hey, what's the address??. i'll fly out tomorrow and see you there??> ha, ha. great find. a friend of mine had a runner back in 1957 like that, that was barn fresh that i was going to buy, but when the brakes failed and i hit my dads garage, it was all over. never saw it after that. now there is a story about a 33 chev. 2rd sdn, but it would take to long here, or the 34 chev. 4 dr sdn also.
