I must be trippin, I'm finally ready to order some wheels for my Olds that I've been saving and squirelling for and I'm having a moment.
I measure my wheels as 5 on 4 3/4 at stud center, but I searched around just to make sure and I see numerous sites that say those cars have 5 on 5 ?? I feel dumb even asking this question, but I'll feel 100 times worse if they don't fit. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

  2. Measure from the outer edge of one hole, to the center of the other. They should be 5"

Thanks for the reply, I did measure that way also and it was indeed 5. Is that how you are supposed to measure? If so, I've been measuring wrong for quite sometime, although it hasn't mattered because I don't buy many new wheels.
    Good to get set staight.

  4. Yeah, that is how it's done.

  5. Back in the '60's I had a '60 Olds 88 and all i can remember is that it had 14" diameter wheels but I just can't remember the bolt pattern size, sorry.
