Hello Everyone, My names Adam and im from Waynesboro Va. I have been a long time lurker of this site and I have to say it is full of good info. A buddy of mine Martin (Fuxl) turned me onto this site and suggested I should register. I have a 62 f100 that has been p***ed onto me from my father in law who had it since the 70's . It remained in stock form until it was given to me about a year ago. Now that it has warmed up me and Martin got to work on lowering it. We notched the rear and boxed it in then did the spring under, went well. Next up we tackled the front made some blocks kinda like saddles for the straight axle and put it all back together without any major issues, minus some oil pan clearance issues. Next on the list is addressing the bumpsteer issue..Heres a pic. I am looking forward to meeting and talking with all the knowledgable people on this site.
Welcome from Richmond. Please check out the VA HAMB social group. Martin is a member. Glad to have you here.
Thanks for all the greetings guys. Seems like a real good crowd around here. I did check out some of the social groups and joined up on a few.. real good info. Thanks again guys. Ya'll make a new guy feel like he belongs. The ironhead is Martins. real cool bike though, I've messed with a few bikes but never can seem to hold on to them for too long.
Just wanted to post up some updated pics of my truck. I was able to meet a few Va Hambers at the Rockabilly Rumble this past weekend. I had a good time and got to take a look at ClutchDumpinDan's T coupe build and his kick *** shop. Hope to meet a few more local Va Hambers.
