Hello, Heard about this forum "Torquefest" here in Iowa this past weekend. Wow, best car show/dirt driving I have ever seen. Have always like the old school rods, looking at getting a 1940 Plymouth business coupe to fix up. Love the forum!!
Im guessing you guys may have made it to torquefest... wow, best day of my life!! Thanks for the welcomes!!
Of course we made it to Torque Fest!! I even worked my but off that day parking cars. Was an awesome show!! Should be even bigger and better next year!
One of the girls at work had a little flyer that she gave to me. Im huge into car shows and figured I would check this one out. Completely different show and now inspired me to get a project going. Im not sure where she got the flyer, but Im glad she hooked me up with it. Thanks!
TF frickin rocked, and the casino on sunday! Serious sunburn this past weekend. White Trash C.C. of WATERLOO welcomes you to the H.A.M.B.-Hang on man it only gets better now!!!!!!!
Ya know, when it was down town it had more charactor to me but apparently they were going to be charged and the casino said "C'mon out here for free!" That's the story goin 'round here anyway. So now it's a parking lot show-bunk. But it did have a heck of a lot better turn out!! I believe it is also a combination of two shows. Oh well-great weather ayway!
Welcome from Rockwell city Ia. I was at the casino the announcer kept saying the car count is now 475 cars! lots of shiny billet there not too many traditional cars.
not only do I welcome you from NW Iowa but challange you to come over and pick out your project from my stuff
