53 Ford car, What bolt pattern?

Looking at a 53 Ford coupe long distance and can't remember what year they went from 5 on 5 to 4 1/2 wheel pattern? anyone know?

 

Pretty sure its 5x4.5.

 

I need to be REAL sure cause I have a set of wheels that I want to use on the car and they are 4.5?? Thanks

 

It's DEFINITELY 5 on 4.5". That changed on passenger cars in 49. They were 5 on 5.5" before that.

 

I have a 54, and I put wheels on it that were off of a 50 ford, so they're all the same.
Thunderbirdesq is right. they're 5 lugs 4.5"....
