Hey guys and gals, been lurking here for a good while and finally got around to introducing myself. As far as cars go I have several projecs going at the minute, but have recently grown passionate about super traditional '40s rods. Currently working on a '28 a roadster to be done as late '40s period correct as possible.

I will get some pictures up as soon as I can figure out how to. I'm not so great with the computer stuff. And I say the roadster is a Model A and it is mostly, but it has a '27 T roadster or rpu cowl and doors with '28-'29 roadster quarters and deck lid that have narrowed to fit the T stuff. Its sitting on a '28 frame and gear that I had to narrow the ass end to fit. Its pretty much a bastard, but I dig it. I was wondering if this was a common practice back in the day or if some guy just had a T cowl and doors and A quarters and deck said to hell with it and stuck them together. Plus I picked it up for a steal. It also appears to be a older build, all of the body seams are brazed together including the floor that used to be in it. I had to get rid of the floor because it was in such bad shape and the wheel wells were cut out and moves about 10" forward of where they are supposed to go. I'm currently in the process of moving the wheel wells back to the stock location and getting a floor put back in it. Also looking for a new 59a flathead, the one I have I just found out is cracked to hell. Any ideas on the T&A combination would be appreciated. I will get some pictures up as soon as I can.

Here you go guys, I feel like a frickin computer genius now that I got that figured out (thanks Randy aka White Zombie). These pictures are a bit old, but you get the idea. I'm still working on the quarters and the floor, but have made quite a bit of progress since the pictures were taken. I will take some new ones as soon as I get a couple cars and a boat out of my driveway. And the last picture is one of the car as it was when I got it home, has to be the ugliest windshield I have ever seen. I think it was originally from the Wichita Falls area if any of you guys have and info on it. So far the parts list looks like this: '42 flatty and '39 trans, '36 banjo with '40 juice brakes, '36 bones front and rear, '36 torque tube, and '28 model a front end with '40 juice brakes. Not sure on what grill shell I'm going to run, just threw a '31 I have hanging in the garage on it for the hell of it. Any suggestions on what grill shell to run? It kinda reminds me of one of the old jalopy racers. Like I said I know its a little bastard but i dig it and thats that. Any questions, suggestions of comments are more than welcome.
