My girlfriend took some cool shots of my car the other day, so I thought I'd share and show anyone who cares the status of my '35...

I got a novelty plate made using my newly issued tag number. Full exhaust and working front and rear windows...

    The headlights work...

    Angus loves it...

Probably the coolest '35 I've ever seen, love the frenched tailights, very clean yet simple. The dog steals the one shot though.

And how the hell did you get the hood and grille to line up so well. That my friend makes you a wizard.

Very nice car. Are you going to run that plate and keep the DVM issues under the seat?

Hope you don't think I was being insulting by this, but I wanted to see the stance better. B&W seemed to bring out the moment... And the stance! What a *****in' coupe!!

The interior is a bench seat out of an '84 Dodge Caravan. The steering wheel is just an aluminum 3-spoke, quick-release, dragrace-style...attached to a polished aluminum hot rod column, which turns a rack & pinion setup. I have IFS with front disc brakes, stroked sbc with a TH350, and a 1959 Olds rearend with coilovers and a 4-link/panhard bar. Wow, looking back at what I just wrote makes me feel like a gold-chainer! The gauges(temp., oil press., and speedo) are white Stewart Warner Wings. Lining everything up nice took some time. To get the hood to seat flush against the cowl, I carefully bent the bottom half of it to a more extreme curve than the actual cowl. As for the shell/hood alignment, just careful ***embly at the fenders and reaming out a couple of the mounting holes to allow for a little adjustment. My friend Skot did a lot of amazing sheet metal work on the car, making my job much easier...

Nice black and white modification to those photos...I'll have to save them! As for the plates, I do keep the originals in the car...never seem to get h***led. And, yes...Frenchies are great dogs!

Nice! You have fenders. Nothing wrong with ANY of that, IMO! I pretty much have the same basic setup as well.

Good info about the bench seat. I have buckets in mine right now and have been thinking a bench needs to go back in it.

I would also like to know!

True, the fenders hide all the modern madness underneath! Here is the wheel/tire info:
    Front- 5.60/15 with a 2 7/8" whitewall
    Rear- 7.00/15 with a 4 1/4" whitewall

I am hoping for a similar look but I went with 5.50's and 7.50's on 16" wide five wheels. The stance is exactly where I hope my own sits. Just a really cool car man.

Nice...exactly what I was going for! I'm pretty happy with the luck I've had with cars...well, maybe not luck. I always seem to forget how much time, money, and work I have into a car when it gets to this stage, and I'm actually able to drive and use it every day. I hope to go all the way with this car...paint next(deep champagne color), then interior. Thanks for the compliment.
