Sorry to hear that. However, the guidelines of late have been getting stricter and sales through internet fraud are a federal crime, as well as a business crime under his state statute. When I had a "tiff" with someone from ebay last spring, and was stalled around for over two months, I initiated the reporting proceedures and notified him of such. I got my money in two days.
Another ripoff. Beware of Hot Rod and Custom Supply in Fla. They sold me some flathead lifters that were soft as ****er and lied about them being made by Isky. Isky told me that they don't sell lifters to them. Cost me $800 to $1000 in time and parts to fix. I'm going to be mad as hell for a long time. pigpen

pigpen, I went to by there shop in the early 90's and wasn't real impressed by the reception I got, won't plan on buying from them.

They did replace the bad lifters and the ruined cam but sent a box of solid style (not hollow) lifters that had the Isky part number hand written on the box and the original labels on the box cut out with a razor blade. The replacement lifters are also soft and I couldn't use them. Got lucky with the cam. Liars and thieves.

How bout obsolete ford in OKC? There some other guys to stay the **** away from. I will NEVER do business with them again. They shorted me some trim clips in a set, I had alredy put every oter piece of trim on the car, and they told me that insted of just sending me the 2 clips I got shorted that I would have to pull ALL the trim, back off of the car and send them back all the clips to get the 2 I was shorted. Then they just sent me some universal **** that didnt work at all. And on top of they they are just plain ****in stupid. If I ever see them in person they WILL be getting a piece of my mind.... And and also, I posted an ad lookin for some parts for my rat truck, and a guy emailed me about them, never got a PM or anything, and hes just been kinda vauge about the condition and shipping and what not. I think hes just a lurker... Hes probably all good, but I didnt know if any of yall have had problems of that sort with lurkers... Cory

File a repport with the state attorney general where the guy lives. Go to the state govt website, look for attorney general, fraud unit. Some states have forms you can get right off the site.
Another guy to stay away from is Quickor Suspension. Sent out parts they knew were wrong for my car, wouldn't make good on them even though they acknowledge that the parts were bogus. Twice said they would send me the right stuff, never did. The guy is a real ****, either plays dumb or is dumb - couldn't remember anything one day to the next. Hope my credit card company can make me whole
Mike's one of those guys that kinda dissapeared off of the radar after a few years of bein a regular around here(LA, not the HAMB). Probably burned one too many bridges. I had no idea, but like I said, if you need my help, just let me know. He's not that far off the radar screen. I think if I asked nicely he'd probably take care of his mistake.....

Would of ordered again in the future but makes me think twice now. Here's a suggestion, how about a Hamb-O-Dex of rip offs' and such so people don't get screwed in the future? Does that make sense?
Paul2748: i know the guy [owner] at quickor, so send me some info. he will most likley be at the next swap meet around here. i'll ask him what the hell is going on. i have his sway bars under my 48 merc. and they work great, but that was 24 yrs ago when i got them. the owner is a real nice guy, but he may have some flakes working for him.
