Look who's typing....can't handle back what you dish out?? YOU started it months ago by slamming Alan and Billetproof on BP threads. YOU stay off BilletProof threads and I'll gladly stay off SOS threads.

Lets' see if you keep you word about that. Funny how much you support BP now that it has moved to a new venue. I will stay away from Alan's post's but I will post what ever I want on the Sin's of steel posts.

I WANT Denise at Sins of Steel. She is probably the most important female in hot rodding right now. If she isn't there, it'll ****. I mean, we'll get along but I want her there. My two girls need to see a 'normal' girl with a hot rod.

Well...in a sense. Hope she shows.
Btw... Ever met me? I'm about as abnormal as a 'normal' human can be!

  9. I hope she shows too - with cookies from her new kitchen!!!
I keep hearing about her cookies, but everytime I run into her she is cookie-less.
    Maybe it's me?

Thanks for the kind words Pete. Appreciate the sediment. We'll make plans for me to stop and visit with the girls this summer. I p*** right by Flint quite often on my way up north to East Tawas and since I drive Big Olds up there the girls will see me driving Big Olds and perhaps I can take them for a ride and we could get ice cream or something.

As far as the SOS event goes up until a week or so ago I was going to attend but at this point there is no way in hell that I would ever take Big Olds to a SOS event. I can't support a group of people that conduct themselves publicly the way some of the people on this thread and the BilletProof Detroit threads have.

Looks like you couldn't keep your side of the bargain.
Posted at 6:30pm today. The following comments from folks on that BilletProof Detroit thread are priceless.

If you really want me to start slinging some mud about what people do and do not know than I suggest you keep running your mouth. I am glad that I have offended you so much that you are not attending our show. I have p***ed out more fliers and directed more traffic and parked more cars for that show than any trash talking you could ever think of doing. Our club is the only reason that there is a billet proof in Michigan and you cannot deny that. I only posted on the thread because what was said about Boomer support ingthe move is a complete lie. I welcome your comments positive or negitive and as I told Alan I wish him luck with his show.

You've certainly full of yourself. ANY car club or group of people could have pulled off BilletProof Detroit, or any car event for that matter. Happens on a regular bases. The Poor Boys and Peckerheads aren't anything special. All it takes is bodies to do the work and a leader that knows what the **** is going on. Davisburg was a ****ty location right from the start and the only reason it was there was because it was close to Waterford, the home of the two clubs. Alan should have moved Billetproof years ago. You guys are just pissed cuz you were the last to know he was moving it.

Yeah you are right about that. It would have been nice to know that our show was moving. You are also right that those two clubs are nothing special.

WOW!!!!!!! So let me get this straight- hey Poor Boys and Peckerheads thanks for bringing Billetproof to Detroit - but you **** and anyone could do it- Btw the location ****ed too - but the show grew year after year - new guy buys the show from Kirk - decides to move it and lets everyone find out about it on a internet forum rather than calling the parties involved - I was thinking of going to Billetproof , but because of your ranting I think I will stay away!! Un real!! Come on Denise I thought you were above this

-Billetproof Detroit was a joint effort between Kirk and Roger Atwood

-Roger got Boomer involved as financial support and for event location connections

-The original ideal for billetproof was a show for people who were not afraid to get their cars dirty, hence the Davisburg location

-Yeah, any club WITH THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS (Kirk- POOR BOYS FOUNDER) could run it , but it was us doing what was originally a Poorboy show and creation. Then after Alan bought the name, we continued doing the same thing with the addition of receiving and shipping his show sales items

    - During last years Billetproof, the day of the show, Boomer made an agreement with the fairgrounds to do 3 more years. The day after the show, without Boomers knowledge, Alan goes out to Ypsalnti to work on doing the show there

-So all in all I believe the separation, even though a lot of us are unhappy of how things played out, will be a good thing. Sins of Steel will try to stay true to the original concept and billet proof can go on and do its thing. Thus, like I've said before now there is another show for Mi.

I won't be going to Ypsilanti this year, I'll just wait for Frankenmuth Autofest to hit a show fitting that type of bill.

Actually I went to the Orphan Car Show at Riverside Park to work on the Concours d'LeMons (another series of car shows that I put on in conjunction with the 24Hours of LeMons races - which are run by Jay Lamm).

and I concour, it is a good thing that there is another traditional car show in MI. All for it. It doesnt have to be an "us vs. them" sort of thing. Although some seem intent on making into one (note: not directed at you kustom66cat). The two shows can work together to grow the scene and give everyone more opportunity to use their rides, or the vitriol can poison the well for all. Boomer and I realize that and have talked about it in length. We've agreed to support each others effort.

After a few years the "BAD BREAK UP" will fade away and every one will be happy again, or at least pissed off about something else......

I saw a picture of Denise doing a burn out at the Davisburg show and she sure looked happy. I guess people have a weird way of showing how they really dislike things. Oh yeah I was standing there while she did said burn out and I really don't think she thought the venue ****ed that bad while her then in primer and no interior car was chained down getting tons of photo's and video taken of it. I have been wrong before. Roger did bring Billlet proof here and it would not have been here at all if not for Kirk and Roger's connection, so say what you will the clubs involved made that show what it is was, not what it will become.

  27. It's facinating to sit back and watch how people view things. Some see a ****ty dirt lot that horse run around on during the fair. Some see a place were a community of people with simular interests gaither and share ideas, stories meet new people that also don't like to be screwed up the darkside like a autoworker out of his health benifets.Which group do you wish to belong to?
