My name is Manny. I am a 57 year old disabled person(heart problems) I grew up through the muscle car era. I have had quite a few muscel cars back in the day. But for many years life got in the way of my playing with cars.. I recently brought an 83 Z28. It is a 305/350. I brough a complete 350/4-speed drive train.. I am getting ready to make the switch. Other than money being my bigest problem, I will have lots of time, to spend on this project... I will be looking for lots of advice on how to proceed.. all of the new electronic compoents are a mystery to me... So I'm hoping for lots of advice.. Manny
Whats wrong with an 83 Z28? You know in the rust belt you can't even find a 80's V8 rear drive car that hasn't rusted in two! Heck even early 2000's full size trucks have all 4 wheel wells rutted out, the cab corners are gone, the door and rockers too! 25 years ago I found a 56 chevy in an old junk yard it was so rusted you cound put your fist thru the top half of the door like it was tisue paper! 3rd gen camaros can be cool, check out the being built at Rad Rides By Troy.
