Sorry no pics I will get some tomorrow just happy to get it home I bought this car a year and a half ago but it took this long to get it home (long boring story) I just wanted to post this because I finally feel like I own a hot rod even though it's a clapped out p.o.s.

I have a 48 f-1 but in my mind a model a is a hot rod, the kind I wanted when i was a little boy before i knew the differences between a t, an a, a duece or a 33-34 I just knew they were hot rods!

WOO HOO I HAVE A HOT ROD!

Finally getting around to posting pics.

Notice the rear drum in the first pic shows you how deep she was laying in the dirt and the third pic says she has not been on the road since 42.

Where do I start with a project like this?

Any good advice or books that outline the best way to go about it?

I would like to separate the body from the frame but the flooring subrails are all but gone I am worried about how to keep it square to start repairing?

Where is the best place to source those subrails? (not sure I am using the correct terminology there but i am talking about the bottom of the body running the length of the frame rails). Please excuse my ignorance it is the first time doing a project like this and I don't want to completley fu%$ it up:D

I am planning to keep it very simple (read cheap). The last 2 images are some examples of roughly what I have in mind. I welcome any and all input.
