Alright my enxt question is would you be willing to trade for my '52 Mercury and my Soul????? That thing is so raaaaaddddd!!!! I didn't know if I was digging those rear tires but now seeing it in true form I think it's definitely a total package.

This is going to be that car that puts you on the map dude. You are entering the masters territory. Best of luck to you on this journey.

It looks even better in daylight Chris! I can't wait to see what it looks like after you splash some of that "special" color on it!

I think this car is my soul. Honestly I couldn't ever imagine selling her. Its the exact car of my dreams.

I appreciate your comments, I'm really hoping that this car will help me bring in more full builds in the shop. Defiantly will help legitimize me as a shop to have a finished car.

I'm defiantly excited for that process of the car. The final look I have in my head will hopefully blow everyone's minds :)

That car is going to make all the who's who list from now on. I dare say, that is the best looking sedan ever built. We watched the whole thing right here on the hamb, thanks for the thread...

The last picture is the profile you were after from the start. The car is right on the money in my mind. I could live with it just like it is. Will you be running a QC later on? I am big fan of your skills and eye for design. I wish all the best in the coming years.

Ya ill be putting in a rodsville quickchange soon. Im keeping the car all together like it is for a local car show on the 15th of this month. Then after that I will be tearing things down. Ill send the rear end off to the guys at Culver City Quick Change in New York. They will do all the machine work, and get it all put together for me. That's the last huge improvement on the car besides the paint.

Paint it shiny black, Chris, and you might get Larry to get that shoebox out. :D

I would consider selling the sedan if I could take some of the money and buy a rod that I could drive around till I built another hot rod. It would defiantly hurt me business wise if I didn't have something to drive around. Trick thing is buying a rod that would keep its value so I could re-sell it or at least not lose money.

I'm thinking that the next rod I do for myself is going to be a 28'-29' model a roadster on a 32' frame. Blown Flathead, quick change, steel wheels, etc. Kind of a dry lake racer. So if I ended up selling the sedan I would just find a model a on a 32 frame with a Flathead that I could finish quickly and still have something to drive.

    Something like this:

You wouldn't be happy with someone else's built rod....................

Your right. It would just be something to drive till I could build one myself again.

Ya im planing on just making it out of aluminum. And I'm thinking of going with the filler in the roof. I plan on getting one of those small motorcycle recessed gas caps that you paint over and put it on the drivers side roof. Ill place it right where the last "P" of "Salt Flats Speed Shop" will be and try to hide it so its almost invisible. That way I don't worry about fumes, etc inside the car or spilling inside the car.

Here are my pictures from the show. I'm planing on doing a bare metal photo shoot this week. Then its time to take apart the sedan and get ready for paint, and finish up the ch***is.
