What a great event. Cool cars. Friendly people. Good free food. Roy and his crew are always super welcoming. The Bay Area Roadsters helped with the food and they made some great garlic bread, hot dogs and chili. Very low key event, I had a great time and will do it again. Beppie was there with his 3 window and I tried to get him to trade for his old roadster, to save him some time and energy, but he just would not go for it! His 3 window is very cool. Super low and killer profile. Thanks Roy and crew and Club for the good time.
Sounds like a whole lot of fun. I have to second Denise's comments. I had the pleasure of riding with Andy and a zillion other folks to Indy a couple years back, and they even welcomed a newbie like me. Hard to believe.
Fantastic photos..nothing like that even close to the area where I live. What a treat it must have been to be around all that vintage iron!
I don't think the flathead will spin the dirt track tires. We will have to keep the skinny tires on it to do donuts in the dirt. Thanks for getting me there it was fun. Tell Roy how much everybody appreciated his party.
Hi, Thanks for posting Rich. I checked out the Brizio's Open House Saturday afternoon. Had lunch, great hot dog btw, no waiting. Took a bunch of pics, feel free to check them out at the link: http://public.fotki.com/Truckaholic/car-shows/local--small-shows/2010-05-08-brizio/ I have to say, I really liked this Buick. Ron
Absolutely! I live a couple of miles from Stanford, guess now I'll have to taste test them all to figure out which ones they were! THANKS!
@flat34pu & @ron0257 ... nice pics ... thanks for sharing! Roy Brizio's shop ... Dave @Butcher Boy Schaub's hot dogs ... Joe Cardoza's famous garlic bread ... and a whole bunch of cool cars ... what's not to like?
Thanks for taking the time to post the photos, Brizio's shop has the art of '32 down pat! Do you know who owns this coupe?
This looks like the Kelly Brown roadster that was in Steve Davis' shop a few years back . It was going to get some exotic four banger originally.
