I have a '59 chevy stepside pickup with the rear fender mounted spare tire. I would like to eliminate the spare tire cavity and was wondering if anyone knows of a place that offers a filler panel to accomplish this?
    Thank for the help.:)

    Hey,

You may be better off finding a nother fender without the spare well in it. That same fender was used from '55-'66 I'm thinkin'! If not you could pattern off the right side fender and build your own patch from 19 gauge C.R.S.

If I were you, I'd find another fender and sell the one with the cutout. As far as I know, nobody is reproducing them (read: valuable).

Find a different fender. I looked for a while for the same one you want to cut up. If you relocate the gas tank to under the bed, then it becomes an ideal place for the tire. Plus, I like the look of the bed side mounted tire.
