I've got a Ford 223 motor, just about ready to drop it in my '60 F100. It's out of a 56 F100, said to be bored .060" over, has an RV cam in it, and i'll be runnin the Clifford split header, and Clifford intake can't decide whether to use a 350 Holley 2 bbl or a 390 Holley 4 bbl.....anyone with prior experience on either of these? Also, I'm gonna run dual exhaust, probably 2" or 1 3/4", Smithy's, Porters, or Cherry Bombs?? or any other suggestons? I've got Magna flows sitting on the shelf, but i want a more nostalgiac sound. Thanks for any input
There's a group on here called inline motors. There's a great thread that was started by Doll Kustom on the 223. Here is the link.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&discussionid=9287 Has some great information on it.
Thanks. I've been in there since I started my 223 project. It's been an awesome source, lots of help so far, guess im just lookin for more opinions.
