fort scott car show?

hey all does anyone know if there is a Fort Ks show this year?

 

Haven't heard...I know last year, it was 110 degrees there and the show was cut short because of the heat and humidity. I didn't go.

 

I heard by the g****vine at the swap meet last weekend that Micky was not doing Ft Scott again. Sure hope thats wrong, I liked it.

 

I've heard was not going to happen also. I think it was Mick that told me that. Hope he chimmes in.

It was 110 at night when it was raining last year...Ha,ha, We've moved it up a couple of weeks to Jusne 12th

It was wrong now but right when you probably heard the news. they've gone through another city manager and we had to start over again.

Ft. Scott, Ks will be June 12th one day show. I'll post more on the HAMB later
next week and will have flyers for the show at the Stray Kat 500.

We love Ft. Scott, it is the koolest place to have a show.

Looks like finances will mandate another bonzai run, leave my house at 4:30 am, be there around 8, and get home around midnight, oh what I won't do for a car show.

It was kool to drive up to the Courtland hotel and see your roadster already sitting
out front. Your Roadster is just Purrfect. Thanks for the offer, but I was vapor locking
thinking about driving it. I'm not used to driving anything that kool.....

Friday night was a blast!! Julie Major and the guys did a heck of a job playing for Dukes
Birthday party.

Here are a few Travis missed. We had a good time also and look forward to next year. MIck and the Stray Kats make everyone feel welcome and Ft Scott is a special small time. Thought the shot 0f ****'s Chevys dash with it's multi decade technolgy was too good to p*** up. Joe

Enjoyed Friday nite, we were just a little hesitant to invite ourselves. Would love to hear Julie in a more "acoustically friendly" place. Was the pedal steel guy a relative of hers, lol. Sure hope you can justify an event there next year. You have a very special touch for this stuff Mick. Joe

 

And a pair of 40 coupes drag racing on the bricks, primered car did a m***ive burnout then blew the doors off the "pretty" one.

 

Thanks Joe our shows are not the biggest but we try to make them the koolest.... We are
trying to get back into the Liberty theater for next tear, I hope that I can pull this off.
If so it will be a have to attend You guys will be the first to know....

That was a kool race, Zaring sure tells a different story. I wish that I had it on video so
we could settle the fight. How kool to see two 40 Coupes drag'n down the wrong way on
a one way street with the bricks a flying. It would make a kool Robert Williams poster.

One of the highlights of the weekend was, I almost took off in this Roadster, Dan was
being too nice and I appreciate it. But I just couldn't do it, one of these days.....

Looks like a good turnout. Some *****in cars showed up. Wish I could have made it. Havent missed one in frot scott until this year .

 

Once again Mick, thank you for a kool show. A great location and Friday night was just too kool! We had a good time and the Camaro did great with no problems. We even stopped by Baxter Springs afterwards and picked up the kids from pops and hung out there awhile. Did a little smokey as we left too! Lol!
