Been reading this forum for a while. Figured i may as well join. I am building a 1965 Chevy Step-Van. Started a few months ago, we are pretty far, hope to have tghe body back on the chassis mid May then time for body and Paint! Found this beauty on eBay last summer, no rust, Arizona vehicle! Here are some pics. Removed the Dome roof, framed flat roof with a huge 40x70" Sliding Ragtopp/ Stiffened up sides and made new sidecaps, Rear Doors shortened and new door Framing fabricated, applied the Rhino Guard to the underbody, they will now flip the truck upright and Rhinoguard the innder panels for durability and sound deadening. Most parts of the chassis are stripped and we are test fitting the Air Suspension. Rear end is done (Eaton Posi, 3.73 gears).
New engine is done! This should move the bread wagon. It is a 5.7 Vortech, Roller Cam, Edelbrock Intake, Holley 650, and Edelbrock dressup items. More updates to come.
