Customs Does anyone have pics of 56 Olds headlights on 49-51 Merc?

I am thinking about what to do to the Merc. I would like to see these on a merc any pics will be appreciated. Thanks

 

I tried the '56 Olds headlight treatment on Big Olds but the bottom inside edge of the headlight bezel came too close to the grill. The '56 Olds bezels are now hanging on my wall as photoframes.

 

NO .... BUT SO HAPPENS .....I GOT FENDERS, BUCKETS & RINGS. cheeeep....

ah yes, but you could put a fucking spoiler on that shoebox and somehow it would still look good LOL

 

Really, That is cool Denise. I am looking at your avatar of Big Olds and it looks to me that your grille surround angles towards the lights as to where the mercs tend to be straight own. I may be able to get away with them but I am curious as to how they will look. Maybe they just will not be that cool but I think they may be just enough to make my merc different then many that are being done.

I think '55's might look a little bit better. I like em without the peak on the Merc's big, bulbous fender. Little bit smoother.
