any body here use to work at Coachcraft?

I have one a 1942 Lincoln convert built by Duch Darrin for the movie Anchors Aweigh Frank Sinatra Gene Kelly, i know, on a wide body, the panels where bolted on, was there any thing between the panel's and the door skins? just paint, calking? thank's Chris i know this thread is a slim chance.
