A Weber 36/32 DVG works great on a 2.3 Ford. I use to run a 81 Mustang in SCCA ITB cl*** which the motor internal were stock but used a Weber carb. We would dyno 150HP on those motors.

I had a 2.3 in my Non- traditional VW based roadster pickup. I used a single from a 1970 Ford pick with a 300 six in it. It worked well.

We put one of those manifolds on a Pinto 2.0 4 cylinder; and installed a Carter WCFB from a 1956 Chevrolet. Ran like a scalded dog! However, this was a race engine. Those little 4 bangers really breathe well.

Or you could unhook the secondaries on your 4 bbl. If they back barrels work off vacuum, they not gonna open up anyway unless the engine is moving enough air to need them.
