Vintage Speed sales a 4x2 intake for the short deck 276/291 Desoto Hemis. Ive heard that you can use this intake on the tall deck 330/341 with a spacer. Anyone know any thing about this or have done it? And what would the mesurement of the spacer be?Any help would be great. Thanks , James

My understanding is spacers would mess up the bolt angles where it wouldn't work.

  3. Is it true you can only run 97's as 94's dont fit?

That's true about a lot of the originals, I'd hope they would space em out just a bit on a repop to allow for 94s.

Yes you can use spacers. Call Wiend and they should know how thick. If you find out, let me know and maybe I can make you a set if you can't find any. Because the ports are at an angle of 20 degress, a mill will be needed. Bill

Hi, I am adapting a low deck Edmunds 2-2 intake onto my 341 tall deck with spacers I designed using autocad and had cnc machined locally. I have them bolted on a dummy engine and the setup looks good. I can send picts to an email address if you want. I had a couple extra sets made up to lower the cost and I have these available- all you need is an extra pair of intake gakets and longer bolts.

Don, I know your post is older now, but I would love to get a hold of a set of your adapters... I can't find a multi-carb solution for my 341. I'm in Edmonton. (darrell.jones@cwb.com). Thanks.

There is/was someone in N.Z. making high deck intakes with plates for carb choices.
