iam sure some of you guys on here have seen some of their dvd's before. i just dont wanna waste my money and get something thats fully of crappy music playing and some fool yelling and screaming everytime a car makes a pass. heres a link to their stuff. thanks http://beeonvideo.homestead.com/list2.html
We bought two video from Bee on video, they are very good and the sound was good (nobody yelling) It was worth it. He narrates the video and does some interviews. Mattbee
I've got a Bee On video from the early Super Stock era and it's quite good. The picture quality is pretty good and they did a good job of narration and editing.
I bought three of them, and I love them, watch at least one of them once or twice a month. Great stuff, especially the 60's SS era, and one of the US Nationals. They're definitely worth what he charges for them. As most of these videos were taken from old 8mm reels, and were silent, a lot of the engine sounds were dubbed, but they were carefully done, and really work with the videos.
I've picked up vintage racing vids from a few sources and Jim's Bee-on videos are the best by far. His knowledge and accompanying commentary are impressive, the sound dubbing is dead on. He ships fast too. Can't go wrong with bee-on. best afx footage out there by far.
Jim Amos does an outstanding job and he's a HAMBer known as BOV . I have 10 of them, all good stuff, The arcihival footage used and the new interviews make a great package .
I appreciate all your kind words and the show of support I have received from the many people who have purchased our videos over the years. It is hard to believe I have been doing this for the last 25 years. I hope I can continue to do it for many more to come. I have been working on an all gassers video and it is nearing completion. I can't believe how much time it has taken thus far. I began work on December 27th and almost every day since I have been working on the project. Hopefully it will be listed on my web page by June 1, 2010. Keep up the great work at HAMB and thanks again for helping to keep the memories alive. Jim Amos Bee On Video www.beeonvideo.com
