Can anybody ID this stromberg carb????

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by yankee mike, Apr 26, 2010.

  1. Picked this up at a swap meet but not really sure what it originaly fit. I know its a Stromberg, and has the Ford 3 bolt pattern. The top is very different than any I have seen. The top has a much smaller diameter.
    Anybody???

Stromberg made hundreds of different carbs. You need to find the model and manufacturer's code number before you can decipher what it fits.

  4. not 81 or 48. I will look for some model etc.

    It's a model 48 as marked by the 1 31/32, 97s are marked with a 31/32.

  6. Looks like a regular ol' Stromberg to me, if you paid less than $50 for it and the flaps move, you got a deal.
