from an auction site. Arrived as described, except one thing wasn't mentioned The autograph Anybody have info? Did Walker's car have one of these phonos? Did Stewart's? Where is Robert Stack?
yeah, those are pretty cool, my brother has one that i remember seeing and hearing in his '56 buick special.
Jack Walker's "Polynesian II" '50 Olds A Clone Of The Best From Valley Custom From the March, 2002 issue of Custom Rodder Sounded familiar, anyway. Cool find.
In high school 1965 I had that exact same one in my 1956 ford crown vic when I sold it I switched into my 61 corvette... It was sure big and ***bersome....skipped on bad bumps if I recall they sold for around $100 back then? Fore runner of course to the 8 tracks....member when they would jam chucking them out the window.... Good memories..... won't be long before CDs get replaced with something..... Thomas Edison would be amazed today if he was still a**** the living... denniskirban@yahoo.com
News flash.CDs have been replaced with Ipods and flash drives.........so Ive been told hell I got a 8-track and c***ette and CD changer in my 56 so who knows
Your rite...... I was referring more to the method of ways the actual music was produce example physical part records, c***ettes, 8-tracks looking at it from a production standpoint as I got a friend that makes CDs. Ipods are great....perhaps even better is sirus/xm radio with far more options and commercial free....we live in a fast pace electronic age for sure....heck my cellphone has more features than I will ever use.....or even learn how to use. denniskirban@yahoo.com
I had mine in a 59 Chevy Impala. never played the radio, just teh player that played thru the radio on an unused AM channel didnt skip, even over railroad tracks. Had to slow down, the needle arm and truntable hangs on springs and foam rubber.
