San diego cruise in??

I have a friend in san Diego and surrounding area looking for car shows or cruise ins in te next couple of weeks. Can someone give me info on where to go?

He can head up to Escondido on Friday night and hit Grand Avenue. It's a little over organized but has a lot of nice cars.
