  6. I second that,I dont think I have ever seen one in what looks like running condition. I have seen a lot of these intakes for sale over the years.

    My Dads 1964 Pearson had a pair of them...twin screw. One turned the opposite direction.

    They used that intake system for clearance. They were under the flat cabin deck. You pulled up a hatch and there they were. With a normal intake system, the carbs and flame arrestors would stick through the floor.

    I thought about trying to buy an old YBlock powered Chris-Craft or Century boat to go with the rest of my Y-block ****.

    You can buy the "Interceptor" valve cover decals however. I'm getting a couple of pairs of them for my project cars.
