Projects 409 4x2 Intake

    My new project..348..409, 4x2 intake..I just finished the linkage and will build 4 Stromberg 97s..
    Thought I would share..

    Here is a 409 also..Lots of work getting all the P.C. off the gaskets faces.. I warned him not to P.C. them by someone who didn't know what they were doing..
    doesn't look to bad, he was very happy..

    looking at buying a 4x2 intake your ganna have to school me on these. i have a 348 out of a firetruck.

    All car and truck 348 intakes are small port and all truck 409 and most 409 car intakes are also small port. Only the high perf engines with 380, 400, 409 and 425 horsepower had large ports. Only aftermarket intake to have the large ports was the M/T 2x4 cross ram so the 4x2 will fit your truck heads that have small ports.

    I'm putting dual 500 CFM Edelbrocks on my 409 (small port 340 hp) but these pictures could make me change my mind. Nice work guys!

    nice set ups, i just bought a cast iorn 3x2 intake off craigslist today. dude said it was for a sbc.... when i saw it i was thinking odd, but who cares...ill take it!
