Hey guys.....seems like lots of action in HAMB forums centering around bringing back to life a twisted, rusted, mangled POS.....I am here to report that there remains plenty of decent project cars out in pastures, farm yards, bone-piles, etc.

Pics show a '41 business coupe that "jumped" on my trailer over the weekend after resting in a pasture for nearly 25 years. The car is rough, but very ready to begin life again.

I think that a few days of hard driving to capture one of these cars ought to be worth a LOT of shop time or $$ bringing back something that is totally rusted and mostly wasted.

This is in no way putting down the commitment or talent being used to reconstruct some of the more severely deteriorated machinery....only to point out that there might be an easier way.;)

Montana HAMBers would probably be willing to help locate suitable tin, etc.

As I am a bit partial to 41's, Dad had a ragtop when I was born, that's pretty cool in my book.

It looks like a pretty solid start on a nifty little cruiser.

Yes, Saskatchewan is empty too, nothing to see there so just move along.

Love 41's in the short door version. Wish I would have kept mine, it was a fun car to putter around in. It sat for 35 years and I was able to get it started with just the usual new battery and rebuilt carb etc.

For what it's worth, my 41 was the very last car to ever be found in all of Saskatchewan so you can all stop roaming the back roads now. ;)

I was about to write that I have just cleaned out the last of the best....when out jumps ANOTHER fat Ford. This car ran 7 years ago, according to the seller.:)

It will come home in a couple of weeks. After I remove the engine/trans, I will probably sell the car.

why tear it apart, it sounds like it could be resurrected if it was running 7 years ago. I would leave it (my opinion)

We will use wrenches to "tear" it apart..:D

My buddy has a '48 convert that the engine/trans will go into. Besides, the fat ford needs a BBC or Hemi engine!!

I'll try to get down to your hoop-la.

You Arizona guys would be money ahead to let the Monatana boys bring the Stuff to you at places like Pamona or others .Most of the farmers and ranchers are looking for new ways to use there Duramaxs now that they can't make any money on cattle or grain.
I travel the northwest and everytime there is a Pamona ,NSRA, Goodguys ,or HAN in Reno I see slugs hauling **** on Fri and returning home on Sunday with "Same ****"
    funny huh !

Because I am literally the only person who has seen that car in 30+ years... and we are planning to dig the whole car out.
