AstroMonkey BBQ X - July 10th 2010

Just a quick save the date for this year's BBQ. We've ditched the bar we've been having at to go back to our roots. This year it's at a picnic ground and will be a much more laid back affair. You can get the details on the MySpace page at: http://www.myspace.com/astromonkeybbq

 

Thanks for the heads up. I wasnt sure of the date this year. It conflicts with another event i'm goin to this year. I hate when that happens. Anyway good luck with the bbq. WE enjoyed it last year.

 

Unfortunately it's the same day as the Rollin Bones show and another cycle show I know of so far. I really wanted to do it in June but we couldn't get the venue for any earlier.

 

thanks for the PM and invite.. I was just to that park last week for another event.. and was thinking about how cool it would be to attend a car event there..

dont know what my july looks like but if I'm in town I'll be there

 

You guys know how to do it right -- I'm in. See you then.

 

my car will be done by then im gonna bring it out to this show for the 1st time since 2ys ago when i came to my first bbq at the italian club

 

Always a killer time..great food, and good music...can't wait..

 

This year's show should be a lot of fun. It'll be much more like the show at the Italian club except with a lot more room.

 

Always a great time at the Astromonkey picnics - count me in !

2 Week bump

 

I was out there today lots of room for lots of cars!

 

I here they had Canal day there over the weekend. I figured as much when the 26th was already booked. We usually do the BBQ on the last Sat. in June but we took the date we could get this year.

Hopefully the turn out is good this year. I've been busy as hell with the new house and haven't handed out any fliers at all yet. Basically this year is coming down to the HAMB and word of mouth.

The show is rain or shine so don't let the water keep you away. The venue has a huge pavilion so we should keep dry.

Well , I had loads of stuff going on yesterday (picking up my engine/trans for my shoebox , helping a friend w/some stuff ...) , so I didn't make it to the picnic . It's ALWAYS been a great time & the Astromonkey guys are really good dudes - I'm bummed I missed it , so somebody BETTER post up some pics , or I'm gonna freak out !! I can't be the only guy who runs around with a camera to his eye all day , lol !

 

I know that spike shot a photo that I need a copy of.. ;-)
