i found a guy in TX with a '54 f100... heres some pictures of it, i emailed him for more info on it.. do you think it looks to bad? hes asking $250 obo.. he says the truck is complete, let me know what yall think.. id appreciate your opinions. when i get more info on it ill post it
$250 is pretty cheap, but make sure it is 1/2 ton..unless you don't care of course. Those cab light make me think it is a bigger truck. Windshields are $215-250 from what I saw in about 5 seconds of searching. interesting headlights..
becareful the city doesnt desigate that a historical-dig site when you go and try to un-earth that thing ...... but it could be a good deal

If you have to unbury it I would charge him! Otherwise the price is probably right...the cowl down low is probably rusted..cab corners too...just because the rain gets in so easy! But if it is really complete grab it . do a volare clip or set the whole truck on an s10 ch***is and you could probably be on the road for under $1500 or so.
Whats a volare in North American Must be a teenager asking that!! Also thinks Canada is in Asia. Volare is a Plymouth model built in the USA. I can see the next question: "Duh, wats a Plymouth dude?"
My '54 driver cost me $2600 with a running 292. Looks like you'd be replacing and fixing almost everything on that thing just to get it driveable... maybe not more cashwise but a heck of alot of work for what you'd end up with. best. himmelberg

[ QUOTE ] I guess no one gets a joke without the smiley faces. [/ QUOTE ] especially when the joke isn't funny!
[ QUOTE ] I dig the canted headlights [/ QUOTE ] Me too! I would buy it! Looks like a early custom shop truck to me...who knows, it might have history... Mike
I ***ume you are close enough to make a trip worth while. What part of Cajun land are you in? Like someone else said, how much digging you gotta do? What is supposed to be under the hood? There is some neat stuff out there now for Y Blocks. 3 speed or 4? Wheels? Is tailgate there? Can you get it ***led in LA w/ a bill of sale? I don't have any experience w/ real body work but $250 w/ a ***le seems pretty good. TC
