Hello to Everyone! I was told about the H.A.M.B. from a friend that I used to be stationed with, and was told that this site was a wealth of knowledge. He seems to be correct. Anytime now that I search the net for an answer for something related to my car, the search always finds a link to the search that brings me here. Great message board and glad to be a registered user. Mike MacDonald
Welcome Mike, what are you driving / working on? Is there a pretty good scene at Ft. Polk? I've been stationed a few places now and its always great finding another group to hang out with and seeing the differences in auto clubs based merely on location. Good luck and have fun.
Thanks Chaos and Strawberry, I am working on a 56 chevy 210 wagon. Keeping the old 265 with it. I actually almost have the engine complete. Just waiting on the heads to get back from the machine shop. I am looking to start on a rat rod. I have always loved the look and have had a blast building this engine that I want to do it again before I ever finish the first. I think I want a 32 chevy tudor. The scene down here is pretty good. Laid back and not uptight. Its what you make of it and I like it here. Its kinda nice to be in in the center where I can drive just a few hours and be to alot if different shows and gatherings. Where in florida are you from strawberry? I am going to be taking my body down there to be dipped.
