Looking for pics or info on the Jack Richards 29' roadster. One picture is 3 sailors sitting in it in there uniforms.
Again asking for any photos and info of Jack Richards and his roadster. I was at the Big 3 swap meet waiting in line around 3:30 am and saw a truck pull in with a set of ladder bars sticking up and parked 3 cars behind me. I pondered about going back to sleep but curiosity got the best of me. I walked up and there was an Olds rearend, and a 389 Pontiac with a T10 4 speed behind it. Long story short it was his son Bob and he tore the car apart. He is building his own version of his dads car using a Brookville body and aftermarket frame. I ended getting the whole original car, body, chassis, etc in pieces. He kept the Auburn dash and fenders. I cant believe I got this car, so i'm looking for more info and history. I want to put it back together right, any help would be appreciated.
I dont know if this will work but heres a link from Ford Barn http://www.fordbarn.com/earlyv8/forum03/membersarticles/dtamembers/DTArichards.htm
Hey newbie, you do realize this thread is 3 years old don't you? The OP did another thread later on and there was a long discussion.HRP http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=567708
