OK - so this one was REALLY in demand at the show...........we did auction a few off at the show- and this was one of the ones that was in the running.

But we thought that we would be able to get more $$$ by getting this to a worldwide audience - I hope ya'll prove me right!

Here are the pictures of the helmet that you are going to bid on.

We are going to post some other info and pictures of projects that Mr Jones has been working on in the past on here as well.

Not sure the HAMB knows what we put together for the Vintage Torque Fest. Jimmy Flintstone contributed helmets to the art show and these were sent out to the artists that agreed to help out back in October. The artists were asked to contribute whatever concept they wanted to the helmets. Almost all of the artists have agreed to contribute the proceeds from the auction to www.helpinghannahsheart.org

This is a medical expense trust set up to help pay the many medical expenses that have ac***ulated over the past 3.5 years.

For those that dont know, our baby has had different procedures throughout her 3 year life including open heart surgery. She will have to have more open heart surgery again in about 5 years. The doctors have to be paid in order to keep on doing more surgery.

I will get more details as people want to know them.
Visit www.helpinghannahsheart.org for details on what she has gone through.

These helmets are a direct cast off an original German M40 WWII helmet and will fit with the proper lining installed. These helmets are NOT DOT approved so dont think you can wear this out on the street with your motorcycle.

I hope you all will bid these things up.
These helmets cost $40 with nothing on them - just the normal resin.

Add the cost of the time and energy and paint that was contributed by each artist and you see that the helmets SHOULD go for over $100.

The helmets that were auctioned off at the show went for about $150 - $200. But we did not have enough time to auction off ALL the helmets....so Ryan has agreed to auction them here on the HAMB and he has been very gracious in stating that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to www.helpinghannahsheart.org

Thanks for looking and we hope that you will continue to support the cause.

I'll sweeten the pot a bit....winner will also receive two signed prints to go with the helmet! As soon as the auction is over and John confirms the money is paid, he will need to forward the winning bidder's address to me, and I'll put 'em in the mail! Happy Bidding!

Okay- Here't the Dirt...I've been a freelance illustrator for the past 20+ years. My clients include anyone who's willing to pay for my crazy work. Until recently, I really haven't had any type of gallery showings, etc. I have however, been fortunate enough to have space at Detroit Autorama, Hunnert Car Pileup, Torquefest and I look forward to doing a lot more shows in the near Future. I've been a long time member and moderator at www.motorburg.com, a site founded by Charlie Smith and currenly maintained by Charlie and Brian Stupski (Flying Polock here on the HAMB). If any of you will be attending NSRA Nats in Louisville, stop by the Motorburg Design Center booth. I am honored to be a guest artist there.

Why I do what I do? I love cars, hot rods, customs, dragsters, funny cars, you name, I dig it...well, not the Japanese import ****. The community here is great! I've been blessed to have met and become friends with some seriously cool people, made lots of friends in the automotive art community and it the artists and custom car/hot rod community that drive and inspire me.

Here's some of my art from the recent past:

Thanks to everyone who has put in a bid so far on the brain bucket. This is for a great cause, a beautiful child, and wonderful parents. Bid often and bid high!

    Thanks,

    Todd
