So,...... You find yourself restoring something obscure,... In my case it a 1950 Airfloat travel trailer, and you need some strange extruded rubber window seal.. So where do you look?
I need help finding something close to this s shaped window rubber.

Steele Rubber makes several "generic" seals and weatherstripping. I've already sent them a small 1" sample piece of a seal and they tried to match it. Might be worth a try.

    Hey,

For somethin' that weird, ya may wind up making your own!

Check out the McMaster Carr catalog for castable rubber or urethane. The stuff is available in several hardnesses depending on your needs.

    Bobby Green,

Did you ever find the correct seal?

I'm working on a 52' Airfloat and came across this as well!

    Best,

    Kyle

The RV industry uses all different sizes & shapes of moldings. Try your nearest RV supply or repair shop. If they don't have exactly what you need, you may find it in their catalogs that they order through.

^^ I've used a local supplier here to body (coach) builders who do buses etc, RVS etc. They have an amazing ranges of odd rubbers and profiles to suit a wide range of applications, window felts etc, latches and the like.
