Hi, I'm new to this site and all this high tech messaging stuff, but here goes. I'm a retired drafting&designer/teacher and old school hot-rodder, a****st other things, who is trying to finish a fairly long term project rod, a 1932 Ford 5-window hiboy coupe with a 341 Desoto and 4-spd. mopar trans. I have collected any aftermarket intakes I found over the last many years and have a Weiand 4-2, Weiand 6-2, Weiand blower intake, factory 2-4 cast iron and an Edmunds 2-2. Iwould really like to use a 3-2 but have never seen one. What is the status on the Eelco??. In the meantime, I will use the Edmunds 2-2 with ROCHESTER 2GC'S. This is a low deck intake, so I designed and had cnc machined aluminum spacers to compensate for the width difference. I have them bolted to a dummy engine and the setup looks good and should work excellently. If anyone could use a pair of these spacers to adapt a low deck intake to a tall deck engine, let me know as I had a couple extra pair machined. Am interested in any info on a 3-2 intake for either low or tall deck engines, and in talking to other Desoto engine guys. Thanks, Don Harrington
Welcome from another Ontario guy. BTW, you should keep the intro separate from from car questions, best to start a separate thread for those
Welcome from Arkansas. smiffy6four is correct, this is the intro board. Post your questions on the main board, only after doing a search first! Many times a question or subject has already been covered. Search first then post and you'll get along fine....
Don, I've been a member since 2008 I guess but I'm only now just starting to post. Like you I have a 341 but mine's going in a Model A coupe!
